How to raise a concern

Email info@claimhelpline.com.au or call 1300 144 878 and explain that you wish to raise a complaint. Include your preferred contact details, the relevant dates and a brief account of the issue.

What to include

Explain the outcome you are seeking and identify any earlier enquiry or correspondence. Start with a summary. Please avoid sending identity documents, medical records or other sensitive material unless a suitable transfer method has been agreed.

Following up

Ask for confirmation that your concern has been received, who is handling it and how you will be updated. Keep a copy of your complaint and any response. If further information is needed, clarify why it is required.

Concerns about another provider

A complaint about a lawyer, insurer or healthcare provider may need to be directed to that provider or the relevant independent body. Their review procedures and time limits can differ from a website complaint. Raising a concern here does not pause those deadlines.

Privacy complaints

For concerns about personal information, identify that your complaint relates to privacy. The OAIC provides information about privacy complaint options where the applicable law covers the organisation and issue.
